i think it's just one of those odd coincidences that my epiphany has fairly to do in a few ways with pearls (i even inserted the word into my previous entry) and i did not recall, was only just reminded by wiki, that today is pearl harbor remembrance day. hawaii's in my blood, i've always said.

the tigers have already completed two big trades in the offseason.

in the first, they traded a guy with the last name FIeldER for a guy named ian k.
in the second, they traded a guy with the last name FIstER for a guy named ian k. (and a couple other guys).

today in the mail i receive an issue of "espn: the magazine" dedicated to college basketball, and the star on the cover is a teenage boy from canada named andrew wiggins who is expected to dominate the kids his age in the academic institutions of college, and then, having put in his necessary one year of training, go on to fight alongside men, the ( Read more... )
